I really like windows, apples OS's have always been fine, but still not on a par with windows, for functionality, availability of software, and much easier and less restrictive to program for. apples OS's are very pretty though.

It just depends on whether you would marry a dumb blonde (mac) or a ugly genius (windows).

I use both, but windows wins it for me, as I use it more.

I even think vista was brilliant (had no problems with it from RTM release) through to RTM release of Windows 7. Might shock some people (I agree with Jon Thomas, in that I believe the reason vista got so much bad press was because people ran it on crappy outdated hardware).

Hold down the command (apple) button to select non-sequential items. Click start of group 1, shift-click end of group 1, command-click start of group 2, shift-click end of group 2.

One of the things that frustrates me with Mac's is that you can't hold SHIFT to select a group of files, then add another group of files to your existing selection. Instead it selects every single file in between that you were trying to avoid.

And copying and pasting file paths is a pain too on a mac.

As Jon says. The only reason Mac OS is slightly more reliable than Windows 7 is because it's locked down to certain hardware. Windows 7 is actually a vastly more impressive OS, but ultimately it all comes down to user experience and so lots of people prefer the simplicity of Snow Leopard.

I dunno. They might just run into some of the same issues that Windows does, because Windows is allowed to run on all varieties of crappy hardware.

I wish apple would just sell the OS for $99 and that it would run on a PC. They would take over the PC world for sure. Don't you think?
